From Doodles to Dreams: Embracing My Design Journey

Hey there, LinkedIn fam! ?? Today, I'm thrilled to share with you the incredible journey that led me to discover my passion for design.

?? They say the seeds of our future are planted in our actions today, and for me, that journey began in the colorful world of childhood imagination.

As a kid, I was magnetically drawn to drawing and painting, covering every available surface with my sketches - from notebooks to the walls, even the doors and windows of our house. Despite the inevitable scoldings, my passion burned bright.

?? I'd spend hours crafting clothes, jewelry, and entire worlds for my dolls, exploring my creativity with every stroke of the brush. Design was in my blood, woven into the fabric of my being.

But as I grew older, the pressure to conform to traditional career paths weighed heavily on me. With my father's limited exposure to the design world from his army background, the expectations were set for a more conventional route.

?? I even dabbled in exams like IIT and EEE, attempting to fit into molds that weren't meant for me. But deep down, I knew my heart yearned for something more.

?? On a train ride home, at my lowest point, fate intervened. A chance encounter with a stranger opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of design, sparking a fire within me that couldn't be extinguished.

? So, I took a leap of faith and applied for the entrance exam to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). And when I cleared it, the stars aligned, marking the beginning of my journey as a designer.

?? Today, I proudly serve as a UI/UX designer in one of India's leading multinational corporations. Every hurdle, every setback, has been worth it for this moment.
