This is similar to how older Apple models compete with new releases or how new cars struggle to sell because consumers are already satisfied with their existing vehicles. To overcome this challenge, schools need to adopt an immediate strategic shift. They should focus on engaging their alumni, leveraging these connections to build a stronger foundation and secure a promising future for both the institution and its stakeholders.
