2008 was a year of challenges and turning points. As the world grappled with the economic recession, I faced my own upheaval – a job loss from a prominent healthcare company. But, as they say, when one door closes, another opens. This was when Violette Business Services, LLC, or “VBS”, came into existence.

Standing amongst the 6.96 million brave souls who ventured into entrepreneurship, as the Business Journals noted, the start of my journey as a business owner was born from adversity. But even then, I could feel it was the start of something profound.

Three decades as an employee had taught me a lot. Having served in operational and business management roles, scaling from small enterprises to massive corporations, I had a front-row seat to the intricacies of running a business. When I ventured into the world of solopreneurship, it wasn’t without its uncertainties. How do you transfer decades of experience in traditional roles to a digital realm? Even when faced with the challenge of funding the certification program she offered, I knew letting this opportunity slide would be regrettable. I was determined to infuse my innate skills into this modern frontier.

Years of embracing the Online Business Manager model honed my management and leadership acumen. And though I didn’t see it immediately, it set the stage for my eventual evolution toward serving Visionary entrepreneurs.

But, little did I know its pages held the key to my next big professional chapter.
