From Cocoa Farms to Classrooms: Safeguarding Children's Rights
No child should ever have to bear the weight of labour that steals their right to education, play, and a secure childhood.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), we have developed and adopted a robust policy aimed at prevention, education, and collaboration. By working hand-in-hand with local authorities and communities, we address the root causes of child labour: poverty, limited access to education, and systemic inequalities. We have made it our mission to safeguard the welfare of every child connected to cocoa production.
Taking Decisive Action
Our policy outlines clear, actionable steps to eliminate child labour from our operations and contribute to sustainable development in cocoa-producing regions:

Coordinating and Implementing Our Policy
To oversee the effective implementation of our policy, we have established an internal coordinating body. This body consists of representatives from both Three Mountains Cocoa and the respective communities we serve. It is tasked with ensuring the coordination of our efforts, including the allocation of resources for education and training initiatives, monitoring and remediation measures, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Growing a Future That Protects Dreams
At the heart of our efforts lies a simple yet profound vision: to grow a cocoa industry that uplifts communities while safeguarding the rights and dreams of their children. By honouring the heritage of Ghanaian cocoa, we also protect and nurture the next generation.
