Interview on “Dune: Part Two” with Greig Fraser ACS, ASC
In director Denis Villeneuve's latest adaptation, "Dune: Part Two," cinematographer Greig Fraser ACS, ASC utilized ALEXA 65 and ALEXA Mini LF cameras to design the visual language and bring the Dune universe to life. Villeneuve firmly insisted that the initial theatrical release should be exclusively in IMAX format for 45 days preceding any other platform releases. ARRI Rental provided IMAX-certified cameras as well as lenses and grip equipment. Delve into how Fraser converged state-of-the-art technology with innovative lenses to recreate the classic science fiction novel.
Academy Award winners and nominees rely on ARRI
Celebrating a year full of cinematic artistry and handicraft, the Academy Awards recognize remarkable achievement across 24 categories. As a camera designer and manufacturer, ARRI always pays very close attention to the Achievement in Cinematography award. This year, three out of the five contenders in this category chose to capture their masterpieces, at least partially, with ARRI cameras: “El Conde” (DP Edward Lachman, ASC), “Killers of the Flower Moon” (DP Rodrigo Prieto ASC, AMC), and “Poor Things” (DP Robbie Ryan BSC, ISC). Congratulations go to cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema NSC FSF, ASC, who was awarded the Oscar for his outstanding work on “Oppenheimer.” In the category Best Picture six out of ten nominations trusted ARRI equipment: “American Fiction,” “Anatomy of a Fall,” “Barbie,” “The Holdovers,” “Killers of the Flower Moon,” and “Poor Things.” ARRI congratulates all the winners and nominees of the 96th Academy Awards. ARRI’s live entertainment technology captures NFL and DFL showcases
From March 20-21, 2024, the biggest and brightest names in international live entertainment and media technology gathered for SportsInnovation at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Duesseldorf. At this invitation-only event, ARRI showcased its Multicam and Camera Stabilizer Systems through live game demonstrations in partnership with the DFL Deutsche Fu?ball Liga and the National Football League (NFL) . These real-life applications, featuring live soccer and American football matches, endorsed the benefits of using ARRI technology for live sports entertainment. ARRI equipment on the field included a 12-camera ARRI Multicam System setup with ARRI Signature Zoom lenses and the camera stabilizer systems TRINITY Live and 360 EVO. Not only does the ARRI Multicam System capture high-precision images of the highest quality but it also allows for easy integration with third-party technology and industry-standard workflows. Photometrics app 4.8 launches with SkyPanel X21 data
With the ARRI Photometrics app, you can quickly reference the photometric characteristics, technical specifications, and more of all ARRI lighting fixtures. And the best news? There is a new version 4.8 of the ARRI Photometrics App available now, containing photometric data for the SkyPanel X21 and its attachments.

Sprinting to success at ARRI Studio New York
NYC running apparel brand Bandit Running chose ARRI Studio New York to shoot its Spring 2024 collection.
Featuring celebrated Olympians and elite athletes including Rachel McArthur, Mikella Lefebvre-Oatis, Jabari Williams, and Malik Williams, the campaign was shot by photographer Joe Greer and Mack Woodruff, using the ARRI Solutions studio LED backdrop to create a series of high-end looks.
How ARRI technology helped create a specific look for “The Envoys”
Cinematographer Miguel P. Gilaberte AEC shot season two of the Paramount+ hit series “The Envoys” (“Los Enviados”) with ALEXA 35, Signature Zoom lenses, and ARRI lights. When creating the show’s imagery, the DP cooperated closely with Argentinian Academy Award winner, showrunner, producer, and director Juan José Campanella. Exclusive interview with gaffers, Andy Cole and Gromek Molnar Jr. on “Poor Things”
Capturing director Yorgos Lanthimos's acclaimed film "Poor Things," cinematographer Robbie Ryan BSC, ISC, enlisted the support of key gaffers Andy Cole and Gromek Molnar Jr. To augment the visual storytelling, the film was captured on 35 mm film complemented by ARRI SkyPanels, ARRI Rental s BrikLoks, and 18K HMIs.
