From Cherry Blossoms to Orange Blossoms

Glad to be back in Florida with my family and my Goodwill Industries of Central Florida team.

Last week in DC was a busy week meeting with lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill to discuss key policy priorities.

We are working to ensure that our elected leaders recognize the impact our local Goodwill organizations bring to the table and take action to support our mission, team members and the people we serve.

At Goodwill Industries of Central Florida our services help people address barriers like disabilities, language, homelessness and lack of employable skills so individuals can enter or re-enter the workforce – either at Goodwill or with the employers we partner with across the region.

Last year, we served more than 40,000 residents – strengthening our economy, and providing hope and dignity to families and individuals in Central Florida.

For almost 60 years, our organization has been a leading nonprofit organization in the region with one goal: providing tools that help people overcome barriers to employment and finding meaningful work.
