From the bottom to the top…or how to build a house from a garage

For the first time in our history we made it to one of the three market leaders in the new BARCSCORE. Who would have thought that more than 23 years ago when two obsessed and focussed students founded our company with the idea of developing the best planning software in the world. As so often told, we were much smiled at and mostly underestimated. How can you drop out of college for such an crazy idea? Alex and Matthias have never stopped believing in that idea no matter how difficult it sometimes became. 2011 most people had a disbelieving look, when prevero took over the company Winterheller. After very difficult years of integration everyone thought, now they need to take a deep breath. But no, stubborn in reaching their goals, the two founders decided to take over the company MIK in 2015, another milestone in the growth history of the prevero. In 2016 Unit4 became our new mother and the competition secretly laughed, because they believed that their strongest competitor would surely get caught up in the depths of the Dutch company and forget the selling.

Q1 2017 just became the 15th quarter in a row where prevero outperformed the budget numbers: licensing revenues are 15% above BUD and the previous year, the consulting team 29% better than in the previous year. The development team has doubled since last year and we are excited about what our new colleagues will create and make available in our software in the very near future.

But above all, it is the spirit that is still the same as it was more than 20 years ago: everyone is highly motivated and focused on the fact that we will continue to be as successful as before. If anyone in the world is looking for a software for CPM or BI, he should immediately think of prevero. Obviously, there is still a way to go, for all areas, but I am convinced that we will get there someday. More than 23 years ago, we have started the journey and we are still going strong.
