?? From Being the Spectator of Your Life to Being the Director

I can’t think of anything more awful than?being the spectator of one’s own life.?Incapable of viscerally experiencing Your Life?as the main character of the most important story ever unfolding.
Paul Newman always had a sense of?being an observer of his own life. He had the?sense of watching something, not living something.
I used to feel that way too -?emotionally anesthetized.?And I speak with so many high achievers who share this perception.
What could be sadder than this - observing one’s life but not experiencing it.?Living in total auto-pilot a life built by conditioning, rules and being socially acceptable. What a shame!
When I look at all these years I have wasted not participating in my own life, reading and playing a script written by others for me, it really makes me angry. At the same time it makes me?happy and hopeful that I am not on the merry-go-round anymore?and that?I regained my rightful place as the writer, director and producer of my life.
If you too want to know how you could get off at the next stop, take back control of your life, write yourself the script of your own life and finally experience your life first hand, read on!! You will discover?how you can get your real authentic life back!
I am Peggy Van de Plassche, a former banker and VC who now speaks and writes about the psychedelic industry & the benefits of microdosing psilocybin. I created The Microdose Diet - the 90 Day Plan for Passion, Success and Happiness.
In two previous editions (Part I?&?Part II), you learnt about the first 6 weeks of The Microdose Diet.
For the first 3 weeks, you started to?clear the physical, mental, and emotional cobwebs, you?assessed where you were in your life, and you?set your intention for your desired state.
Then, for the next 3 weeks, you?introduced microdosing psilocybin and tapping to calm your nervous system.?Getting off of the Fight-Flight-Freeze answer is a foundational element of retaking control of your life. If you are already living in nervous overload as it is (and if you are based in the Western hemisphere you likely are living in anxious-land), there is no way you can go after any big dreams of yours. Which is why it is so important to calm your body when you want to rewire your brain.
During Part III, for the next 3 weeks you will work on emotional wounds. Yes I said it (or rather wrote it),?emotions are actually an important part of experiencing your life and reaching for your dreams.?You have likely spent a lot of time invalidating and diminishing your feelings, so that is probably not resonating with you, but hold on a second. Imagine for a second that one of your emotional wounds is about being rejected by your schoolmates who mocked you after a less than stellar performance during a school play, a game or a presentation. How comfortable do you think you will be when it comes to interact in front of an audience? Do you think you will likely have performance anxiety and probably don’t perform at your best??Don’t you think that to reach your big goals you won’t have to perform at another level you are performing now?
In parallel, all these emotional wounds taught you to pretend, to change who you were, what you wanted, what you liked, in order to be socially acceptable. And now deep down,?you believe that it is not OK to be who you really are, that you will be rejected if you do so. Which makes it impossible to authentically live YOUR life, to deeply experience YOUR life, having built layers upon layers of protection and fakeness over your real self.
Solving the triumvirate of Overtaxed Nervous System, Unresolved Emotional Wounds, and Unrecognized Limiting Beliefs is the gateway to Your Life.

Week 7-9; Accelerating the Transformation ??
During Weeks 7-9,?we will increase the frequency of psilocybin to 100mg every other day.
During this part of The Microdose Diet, you will focus on a common boulder:?not feeling good enough as you are.?I want you to visualize yourself in different situations: social settings, business meetings, with your partner, with your family or friends, speaking on a stage, asking for a raise, receiving a compliment, negotiating, saying no to someone.?Start with what seems the most natural to you and then what you know is slightly more uncomfortable.?At some point you will feel an internal tug of war. Maybe your stomach will be churning, you will start to blush, or your throat will tighten.?This is an indicator that you feel you do not believe it is okay to be yourself in that situation.?As soon as you feel that discomfort, start tapping. Please note that you might have difficulty feeling: this is not at all uncommon. Do the tapping regardless.
These are some videos you can tap along;?Thinking/Feeling You're Not Good Enough,?Releasing the belief, "I'm not good enough",?Overcoming IMPOSTER Syndrome With EFT Tapping!?and?Let Go Of Self-Doubt!.
Week 7-9 journal prompt:?Where are you on the 0-10 scale for the area you were looking to improve? Have other areas improved too? What is your overall score now? What is the percentage of improvement? What benefits have you experienced in terms of performance (both mental physical), mental health, or spirituality? How far do you feel you have come? What did you learn over the last few weeks regarding your limiting patterns and beliefs? How confident do you feel in your ability to be more successful, more in control of your life, more able to decide for yourself? You still have three weeks to go, and you’ve already made so much progress. Take this time to celebrate that.
