"From Basketball to Boardroom" - A Journey of Leadership

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my LinkedIn connections called Cedi Frederick, Managing Director of Article Consulting. We met at the Rise Conference back in March of this year. It was such an honour and pleasure to have had a Conversation with Cedi, listening to his incredible story from Basketball to Boardroom - a Journey of Leadership, and the lessons he learnt along the way.

About Cedi Frederick: Cedi has over 25 years’ Chief Executive level experience leading large and complex housing and social care organisations, working across a range of sectors including, older people with dementia, people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems. 

 During his time as a Chief Executive, Cedi earned a well-deserved reputation for identifying and developing talent through a coaching style of leadership that enabled his people to maximise their potential. Former staff of Cedi’s left his organisations to become CEOs in their own right, Directors of national organisations, partners in multi-national businesses and successful owners of their own businesses. 

 Since 2014, Cedi has enjoyed a portfolio career, as a consultant, coach/mentor, business owner and Non-Executive Director. Cedi now uses all of this experience, along with what he learnt from a 20 year international basketball playing and coaching career to help Leaders at every level to achieve their personal and business objectives.
