From 'B Student' to 8+ Figure CEO

I was a B student. My family lived just above the poverty line. I grew up in a quiet town. There's nothing about my past that is exceptional. No hidden advantage. No trust fund. No connections.

?I decided early on that I wanted financial freedom for myself and my family. So, what does that mean? I had to work. HARD. I gave up A LOT to achieve my long-term goals. I committed to my future.

?I paid for my dance lessons by cleaning the studio. I went to the least expensive college I was accepted to. I became a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader while still in college using pure grit. I worked my way up to a senior VP level at a Fortune 500 in just 8 years. Learning, failing and growing every step of the way.?

?Somewhere along the journey, I realized financial freedom only matters if you also have lifestyle freedom. So, I started my own company. I worked every morning before work, every day during my lunch break, and every evening after work.

?While working full-time, I built my company to multiple 6-figures with a part-time VA. Now, in less than 8 years, we are well beyond the 8-figure market, with 35 full-time employees. I've started a second company with my best friend, and a foundation to fuel my philanthropy.

What this experience has taught me, is that you don't need a fancy education, straight A's, or a well-connected family to succeed in life. You need to know what you want and be 100% UNSTOPPABLE when it comes to making your dreams happen. You need hard work, patience, discipline, and a long-term view propelling you to take consistent action. You need to be willing to fail and get back up again.

Those things are available to anyone. They aren't "Instagram-able," but they are the secret to success in life and entrepreneurship.?

You can have whatever you want. Get clear, do the work, and stay consistent. Your past doesn't disqualify you. It equips you.
