From Apprentice to Leader: Celebrating Lauren's Six Years at Lead Pronto
Lead Pronto - Lead Generation Experts
We help businesses acquire high-quality leads by creating monumental customer growth through multi-channel marketing ??
At Lead Pronto, we’re all about celebrating the incredible journeys of our team members who contribute to our continued success. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Lauren Renshaw , who marks her 6-year anniversary with us. Starting as an apprentice and working her way up to leading her own team, Lauren has become an integral part of the Lead Pronto family, making big decisions and driving success in our campaigns.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we sat down with Lauren to reflect on her early days, the challenges she’s overcome, and the proud moments that have shaped her career here. Her story is one of resilience, growth, and leadership, and we couldn’t be prouder to share it with you.
Can you tell us about your early days at Pronto?
It's hard to believe it's been six years! Looking back, I feel like a completely different person. So much has happened, and I’ve grown in ways I never could have imagined.
I actually got introduced to Chris through an apprenticeship company after being made redundant just two weeks into my course at another company! It felt like a huge setback at the time, but it turned out to be one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. I’m so grateful for how it all unfolded and I wouldn't change a thing.
What were some of the first challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Working through the COVID pandemic was a huge challenge. Going from being in the office five days a week to suddenly working from home was a massive shift. But the experience forced us to adapt quickly and come together as a team in new ways.
On a personal level, I struggled with imposter syndrome, especially at the start. Joining a leading agency like Pronto felt surreal, and it took me a while to believe that I deserved to be here. Over time, though, I learned to trust in my skills and experience.
How has your approach to work changed as you've taken on more responsibility?
A lot of it comes with experience, but my focus has shifted towards delivering the highest quality leads for our clients. This means relying more on data and client feedback. Where I once concentrated on building campaigns, now I'm focused on optimising them - ensuring that the best-performing campaigns are also the most profitable for both our clients and Pronto.
What’s been your favourite experience at Pronto over the past year?
Definitely hiring and building my own team. It was something completely new for me, and I was nervous at first. But having the support of our senior leadership team gave me the confidence I needed. It’s been a fantastic learning experience, and I’m incredibly proud of the social team we've built.
What are your key responsibilities in your role now?
My primary responsibility is to make sure our social campaigns are delivering results and meeting clients' KPIs. If something isn’t working, it’s on me to find a solution - fast.

I also ensure that the social team has a steady workflow and all the tools they need to make informed campaign decisions.
What do you enjoy most about the work you're doing now?
I love diving into the data. When a campaign isn’t performing, I enjoy figuring out why and collaborating with the data, social, and web development teams to fix it. On the flip side, when a campaign is doing well, understanding what’s driving that success and applying those insights elsewhere is really rewarding.
I’ve also recently started creating videos for social ads - something that was way out of my comfort zone at first, but I’m glad I took the leap. It’s expanded my skill set, and the videos have been really successful.
What’s been your biggest work achievement so far?
I’d say being in a position where I’ve built a successful team. It feels like a huge milestone, and I’m grateful to Chris and Scott for trusting me with this responsibility.
What do you enjoy most about working at Pronto?
Definitely the culture. Over the years, I’ve become close friends with my colleagues, and it’s been amazing to be part of a company that values good work culture. We celebrate employee achievements, have Friday breakfasts, and throw great summer and Christmas parties. It’s a place where we’re appreciated, and that makes all the difference.
How do you balance work and life?
Even outside of work, I often find myself noticing ads and jotting down ideas from social media. But I make sure to prioritise downtime with my friends and family. I also enjoy going to the gym and taking walks, which helps me unwind. When you genuinely love what you do, it doesn’t always feel like work.
What advice would you give to yourself six years ago?
Believe in yourself more and stop doubting your abilities. Confidence is key - trust that you know what you’re doing!
