From 2024 to 2025: What We Learned and Where We’re Headed

As we welcome the Lunar New Year and step into 2025, the Year of the Snake, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year of growth, learning, and transformation. The snake symbolises wisdom, adaptability, and resilience—qualities that align with how we operate at Whizdom. Through Whizdom360, our biannual feedback process, we’ve gained valuable insights from contractors, hiring managers, and partners, helping us improve and evolve.

This feedback drives everything we do—from refining processes to strengthening relationships—and it reminds us that trust is at the heart of our work.

Whizdom’s Achievements in 2024

Last year, Whizdom reached several key milestones:

ISO 9001 Certification – A globally recognised standard for quality management, reflecting our commitment to consistent, high-quality service.

APSCo Australia Awards for Excellence – Winner of the Compliance Team of the Year award, recognising the outstanding work of our compliance team.

Staffing Professional of the Year Finalist – Mohammed Samsam , one of our Recruitment Consultants, was named a finalist for this prestigious award.

Veteran Employer of Choice – Whizdom was recognised as a Veteran Employer of Choice under the Veteran Employment Commitment, honouring our dedication to supporting veterans in their transition to civilian careers.

Sydney Expansion – We grew beyond Canberra with the further establishment of our Sydney office, strengthening our presence across Australia.

Contract renewal willingness rose from 91% to 94%.

92% of Whizdom contractors rated us at 4 stars or higher, with the vast majority giving us a 5 star service rating

More contractors reported feeling calmer and less stressed in their roles.

These improvements reflect our focus on creating supportive, stable workplaces where contractors feel confident to do their best work.

Building Trust

Trust was at the core of our work in 2024:

100% of hiring managers said they would rehire Whizdom contractors.

86% of hiring managers rated contractor performance five stars.

This mutual trust is the foundation of strong relationships and successful outcomes.
