From 1:1 to Group Coaching: 3 Straightforward Ways to Scale Your Business (and Boost Your Income)

From 1:1 to Group Coaching: 3 Straightforward Ways to Scale Your Business (and Boost Your Income)

Welcome back, today I’m diving into something I know a lot of coaches and service providers struggle with: how to move from trading your time for money in a 1:1 model to scaling your business with group offers.

Now, if you’re a coach or service provider who’s been stuck in the “hour-for-money” loop, you’re not alone. It’s time-consuming, it limits your income potential, and, quite frankly, it’s exhausting. But I’ve got some good news for you — there’s a better way. And no, it’s not about selling your soul or losing that personal touch your clients love.

Let’s talk about how you can start leveraging your expertise to make more money, free up your time, and build a business that works for you — not the other way around.

Here are three ways to transition from a 1:1 model to a more scalable, 1-to-many approach:

1. Group Coaching Programs: More Impact, Less Burnout

If you’re currently working with clients 1:1, group coaching could be your next power move. The beauty of this model is that you can still offer that personalised support, but you’ll also create more impact by reaching more people at once.

Here’s the secret: build a clear framework or methodology for your coaching. Package that up, and boom — you’ve got a group program that delivers results. You can offer multiple levels of support — whether that’s live group calls, a private community, or even some high-level 1:1 elements. The key is structure, support, and a solution that solves a real problem your clients face.

Example: I have a signature program called Stream of Clients - with two levels of service:

High-ticket 1:1 support

Group coaching that follows my four-part framework: Clarity, Clients, Closing

With group coaching, I’m charging anywhere from £350/month to £15,000+ a year — and helping more women in the process.

2. Membership Sites: Community + Consistent Cashflow

If you love creating content and fostering community, then a membership site might be right up your alley. Think about all those little insights, tips, and strategies you dish out daily — now imagine people paying a monthly fee to access that, and build a community around it.

Whether you're a life coach, therapist, or financial expert, a membership model lets you deliver ongoing value. This can be a low-ticket offer that provides recurring revenue, plus it builds a loyal community of people who love what you do.

Example: We have the Iconic Wealth Money Club where we help women create their own wealth plan, build their financial knowledge and keep them accountable to their goals.? We have a combination of training, industry experts and accountability check ins.

Memberships can range from as little as £7 up to £97 a month, depending on the value you offer. You can also bring in guest experts — because you don’t have to do all the heavy lifting yourself.

3. Online Courses: Teach Once, Earn Repeatedly

There’s no denying that the online education market is booming. People love to learn at their own pace, and they’re willing to pay for solutions that deliver real results. This is where online courses come in. With a well-structured course, you can serve your audience on a larger scale, generate passive income, and establish yourself as the go-to expert in your field.

Courses are perfect if you want to create something once and sell it over and over again. Add some marketing muscle behind it (because trust me, if you just build it, they won’t come), and you could have a nice revenue stream ticking away in the background.

Pro tip: Include options for added value like VIP coaching or accountability to boost your price point. Courses can range from £500 to £5,000 depending on the support you offer.

Personally I prefer using courses for low ticket offers, to help your clients solve a quick problem and let them get to know you more, as many don’t finish bigger courses or get a high level of results without personalised support.

My Favourite Method for Recurring Revenue: The Hybrid High-Ticket Program

Now, while all of these methods are solid ways to scale, my absolute favourite is a hybrid model that combines education, masterminding, and coaching — all on a monthly payment plan. Why? Because it’s the perfect balance of offering great value, providing personal support, and building that all-important recurring revenue.

Here’s how it works: You create a core program (that could be your group coaching or an online course) and add in mastermind-style coaching and support. Clients get access to your educational content, plus the added bonus of direct feedback, community, and accountability. This combo packs a punch because it gives clients everything they need to succeed while helping you leverage your time and scale your business faster.?

You can also add in a few Done With You services too as a VIP option to help your clients get even better results.

Not only does this method give you consistent cash flow, but it also builds deep relationships with your clients — and that, in turn, leads to more upsells, referrals, and long-term success.

So, there you have it: three solid ways (plus my favourite bonus!) to move from a 1:1 model to something that scales, creates impact, and makes you more money in less time.

Remember, it’s about working smarter, not harder. If you’re ready to build a more sustainable business model that lets you work on your terms, then these strategies are a no-brainer.

Here’s to scaling, simplifying, and stepping into your next level of success!
