Frog Bikes launches kids' City bikes in Europe

Frog Bikes, a leading manufacturer of award-winning lightweight kids’ bikes, has launched a new range of bikes so that children can see the city in a new light. The high-specification, versatile City bikes provide an upright ergonomic seating position, easy-to-mount step-through frame, 8-speed derailleur gears and city accessories to cater for urban commutes and leisurely city riding.

The new kids' City Bike range which includes the Frog City 53, 61 and 67, will initially be launched in selected Independent Bike Stores in nine European locations due to high consumer demand, including France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The Frog City bikes are designed for daily use, providing the ultimate urban bikes for children to commute to school or leisurely explore the city at their own pace, cruising in comfort and style. Suitable for 5 to 12-year-olds, the Frog City bikes are available in 20”, 24” and 26” wheel sizes, in three new stylish colours; black, teal and pink.?

With the new City range, riders will enjoy a more upright, leisurely riding position owing to a longer head tube and raised and slightly swept handlebars. The low bottom bracket position and the lightweight step-through aluminium frame ensure smooth mounting and dismounting, making the bike easy to ride and manoeuvre through the streets.?

All Frog City bikes are equipped with low-resistance, durable Kenda City tyres that are ideal for travelling on varying terrains, and are also fitted with a floating chain glider, full-length mudguards, a kickstand and a pannier rack, so riders are fully equipped for the city.?

Much like Frog’s hybrid range, the City bikes are also fitted with FrogFit Technology? youth-specific 8-speed derailleur gear shifters, which provide more range and are well suited for moderate speeds and hills, and are perfect for efficient urban riding. The innovative floating chain glider, designed and manufactured in collaboration with Hebie; the chainguard specialists, prevents clothing from getting stuck and the chain from getting soiled. It can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance, without any need for tools.

The bikes are accessorised with a rear pannier rack which can hold up to 25kg, a great way to transport bags and equipment when out and about. And, Frog's new, bespoke kickstand, which is bolted directly onto the frame, makes it easy to park the bike when taking a break or when loading the pannier rack and is simple to fold away when not in use.
