The first day at school was another eventful day of my life. When children cry and create a scene on the first day at school, I was exceptionally different. Like others, I didn’t cry because I was excited to be in school but creating a scene was very natural with me.
In my class according to me, everything was going on fine and I was having a great time. The principal had already come to our class two to three times and I could sense some urgency on her face. As if she was been stung by the virus of urgency. She called out a name many a times but I was too excited to hear it. With her, my class teacher too stung by the same virus of urgency. Now, she also started going here and there and calling out a name.
The children were excited, the children were crying… it was a total commotion. No one knew what's going on? The sense of discipline in class was no where to be seen and then through the crowd of children, I saw my mom entering our classroom. I could see the worried face and Oh my God! She too was stung by the same virus of urgency.
She too was calling out for something but I was so busy playing with and watching other children that I could not even hear her and then all the three of them – My class teacher, My Principal and My Mother – were right in front of the class and within seconds my mom pointed the finger and yelled out “there he is”. I could see the looks on the faces of two of them. They were awestruck. It was as if lightning has hit them. And you know what the lightning was the boy they were searching for was dressed up like a beautiful girl in a frock.
Till date, I am confused who was more excited about the frock event me or my mom?
Motivation – It is the personality that matters not the attire.
