Fabric of Life

Revealing the symbolic power of textiles and their potential for individual and cultural transformation.

The group exhibition explores the power of fabric to reveal deep psychological narratives and a range of personal, social, political and cultural histories.

Alongside works by international artists Fabric of Life features hand-picked iconic Paul Smith furniture and textile designs to view in VR for the first time exclusively on the Vortic platform.

Curated by Catherine Loewe, Fabric of Life is on view at Paul Smith Space, No.9 Albemarle Street, London until November 17 and online at vortic.art until January 3.

Reflecting a conscious effort to address the need for greater visibility and equal representation in the art world.

Featuring 7 female artists represented by female gallerists or working independently within a supportive community of women, Global Muses stands as a tribute to the resilience, innovation and boundless creativity of female artists across the globe.

Excavation: Macro to the Micro

Featuring 22 artists, the exhibition is an excavation of overarching themes, the complexity of artistic practice and the interweaving and colliding of past and present.
