Friends?

Friends?

Recently, I learned to play Friend of God, by Israel Houghton, on my ukulele. I love this song, because when most lack relationship, we start to drift in our identity. When I played this song, it reminded me God is my true friend and places genuine friends in my life, even when I feel alone in a goal or belief.??

If we reflect Christ we must embrace differences and stay close Christ is to us despite struggles. Proverbs 18:24 says, “?A man who has friends must?himself?be?friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Instead of backing away from our harshness He comes closer.

So, if today you are having some struggles with challenging personalities, ask yourself, “is Christ their friend?” Most times you’ll feel a resounding yes.??
