Enhancing Stadium Access Control for a safer fan experience

In LALIGA, our approach to access control is designed to ensure a seamless, secure, and enjoyable experience for all fans attending our 42 stadiums. Our system not only regulates the number of attendees, ensuring no more people enter than there are seats available, but also identifies individuals who might pose a risk, enhancing the overall safety of the venue.

Integrated Systems

Our integrated systems are managed from the Coordination Room (UCO) or Venue Operation Center. We start by tracking ticket sales and ensuring our custom-designed turnstiles manage the flow of spectators efficiently. These turnstiles are equipped with a variety of ticket readers, both digital and printed, and can support biometric readers, including facial recognition.

According to the Saint Denis Convention, these turnstiles are the first point of control to ensure that individuals sanctioned for previous misconduct in any stadium are denied entry during their sanction period.

CCTV

Our comprehensive CCTV system, with one camera for every two turnstiles, captures high-quality images suitable for judicial use, providing an added layer of security. We also offer metal detection and hidden object detection systems to ensure a swift and safe entry process, free from long queues and physical searches.

Extended Experience

We aim to extend our concept of the "Extended Experience" to every aspect of the matchday journey, ensuring fans begin to enjoy the event even before they enter the stadium.

Insights from international stadium owners highlight the effectiveness of our security measures. Implementations such as biometric access, despite regulatory challenges, have shown significant improvements in safety and efficiency. Sharing knowledge and best practices remains crucial in tackling common challenges across stadiums globally.
