Today, I am breaking down a few important facts I want to remind you about before you start your day.
Everyone is in sales. In every exchange someone is sold. Approach this from a place of curiosity and learning and your closing rate will increase.
Selling is helping. When you are helping others solve their problems you don't feel so "salesy".
Selling needs to be managed from points of data not from a feeling. Analyze the data and the results. How are you attracting clients? How are you converting them? What is your success rate? How can you improve it? What are the barriers to entry? Remove them.
There are many ways to sell but I personally prefer selling one to many vs one to one. There are many ways to do this but start with your personal brand. People do business with people they know, like, and trust. Be your real self on social and attract masses to you. Become more efficient.
Solve other people's problem and re-create their pain points in order to sell them on your solution. Sara Blakely showed the Neiman's buyer her butt in the white pants with the Spanx on and then she showed her the difference when she didn't have the spanx on. Neiman's buyer bought the product immediately. Re-create the pain of the problem and show your solution- sold!
People are buying the dream outcome. One of the best ways to showcase this is through stories. Your client success stories and testimonials will sell for you. Happy clients are your best sales team - start a referral program now!
Analyze your past efforts. What has been getting you the best results so far? What do you need to test or try to improve or innovate? what are your competitors doing that you should test?
Never take a NO from someone who can't give you a YES!
The magic is in the follow up. It is fine to keep following up with someone until you get a no I am not interested. But not following up is ghosting your lead and that is not nice. Don't ghost, deliver.
