Friday Thoughts – What a week.

What a week it was.

We had my son’s 10-year-old birthday party.

I had an emergency root canal.

We had the 47th?presidential inauguration.

And about a year’s worth of action and headlines since then.

Yet the world keeps spinning.

Just amazing that we keep on going. Nothing stops. Life doesn’t slow down for any of us.

I share all of this because I think it’s important to remember where each of us were, where we’re going, and where we want to be.

As I look at this year and think about the planning that I began the year with, it is so important to stay focused on the goal.

So much changes around us always, our circumstances, priorities, and even perspective.?

It’s crucial to remain present but also to focus on the ultimate GOAL.

And as we get older, time seems to move so much faster. Is it just me or wasn’t it just June of 2024 a couple of weeks ago?! And weren’t we just looking forward to the holidays last December like five minutes ago?

And now, it’s February 2025 and the world has changed again.

How did all that happen? Maybe it’s not for us to say or even understand, but just to enjoy the ride and do the best we can.

Stay focused.

Stay committed to what (and who) is important.

And always remain present!
