The Friday Thing #805 is a reflection on some very clever AI advertising I have seen of late. I admire how different brands are embracing the zeitgeist of AI. First up, is from Impact – a construction workers recruitment agency. This ad caught my eye and made me smile. ChatGPT isn’t going to build a building anytime soon ??
Next up was McDonald’s who have had some great ads over the years using subtle images based off their products. How about this bus stop sign??
I love how they used the ‘chat prompt’ technique to deliver a ChatGPT generated ad. And then I realized the relevance of the different colours of the text. Very clever.
Finally, Nikon nailed it with their Don’t Give Up On The Real World campaign. One image from that is below with /imagine prompt :: a latte skatepark in the middle of the desert in Mars. But you really need to watch the video to see the brilliance of this campaign that celebrates the beauty of our natural world.??
