The Friday Thing #780
Last one of the year. Here we go.
The Friday Thing #780 returns to the classic approach that arrives in the media at the end of every year – a list. I was going to continue to share content from David Hieatt’s quote list or the new Hiut Yearbook that I am ploughing through, but that can wait, I think. Everyone loves a good list this time of year, right? So here are my Top 10 Friday Thing’s from 2022.
8. ?#774: Six graphs on who we spend our time with over the course of our lives was a popular post that literally changed the way a few readers chose to live their lives. It’s worth a re-read.
9. ?#736: Run your own race. I re-read this one to myself today. Twice. It was the message I needed going in to 2023.

10. ?#776: 25 lessons from 25 years at Microsoft was by far the most popular thing I have posted if views and comments on LinkedIn are anything to go by. It’s the post that has given me such joy this year and reminder that the journey is everything.?
Thank you for continuing to read, share and comment each week. I truly appreciate it.
Wishing you all a wonderful 2023 and some joy over the horizon for everyone.
Cheers,
- Steve
