Your weekly pulse-check of a few thoughtful questions - It’s time for Friday Ruminations, where we explore musings and questions to ponder over the weekend. Each week, we will ruminate over three questions - one about FISH (fulfilment, inspiration, success, and happiness), one about playing to your strengths, and a random question about Life, The Universe, and Everything.
FISH – What or who were you most inspired by this week?
I had the opportunity and the privilege to participate in the Thought Leaders community immersion over the last week. These events are a combination of inspiration, motivation and practical tools to grow a Thought Leaders Practice.
I used this as an opportunity to reflect on recent achievements and reset my intentions for the coming quarter. What was most remarkable was the breadth and depth of talent from across the presenters AND in the wider community. So grateful to belong to this group of amazing individuals.
Strengths – If you could choose a 35th theme to be added to CliftonStrengths, what would it be and why?
I’ve always been curious about the absence of any creativity themes (music, art, dance, creative writing) and while Ideation has a role to play, it doesn’t seem to capture all of the natural talents evident in some of these pursuits.

Life, The Universe and Everything – What scares you the most?
Being alone / lonely fills me with dread. Losing my wife to cancer was one of the most challenging events in my life, and getting used to daily life without her presence has been brutal. I take great comfort in Cameron and Ross’s love and support, which keeps the fear at bay.
I would love to hear your own answers to these questions, thoughts that came up for you, or hear additional questions that these inspired. Just hit reply!?
With love,?
