Friday Round Up

Friday Round Up

Well this week I have been down rabbit holes digging out research, pretended to understand legal jargon whilst reading transfer of IfATE functions Bill, celebrated finally getting my dodgy shoulder fixed ??, and marveled at the northern lights.

Next week I'm off work to potter at home and relax. But before I go, here are the things I have spotted this week in relation to apprenticeships and EPA:

  • The latest list of EPAs that Ofqual regulate
  • Ofqual qualification descriptions have now changed from ICT to digital technology
  • the latest apprenticeship statistics
  • the Bill abolishing IfATE and the transfer of functions. Supported by explanatory notes and an impact assessment. I summarised the key changes in a post on LinkedIn
  • ESFA Update
  • Updated list of the qualifications offered by awarding organisations (you can filter to see EPA)
  • the latest regulatory actions and interventions by Ofqual
  • £7 million to tackle antisemitism in education
  • recruitment underway for the chief exec of Skills England
  • transcript of the House of Commons debate on Skills England
  • APAR has been updated (11 October)
