I am incredibly proud of the strides that EQ is taking to sincerely progress diversity & inclusion. I am pleased to note that EQ have pledged to drive Black inclusion in the workplace. Our Group Chief Executive, Guy Wakeley, has signed the open letter created by Audeliss and Involve, which “backs up words of solidarity for Black Lives Matter with agreed action for change”.
This is momentous for our global company, and particularly for Boudicca Proxy Consultants, who have been promoting best governance practice for years to our valued clients, and via our various networks, including the Women’s Company Secretary Circle (WoCoS) and Non-Executive Director Awards. Fiona Hathorn and Women on Boards have particularly been helpful to Boudicca and our networks in providing much needed guidance and insights for true diversity and inclusion.
Although we still have much more work to do to achieve the societal balance that we all long for, today, I am just happy that the company that has been Boudicca’s parent since May 2018 is doing its part to help advance humanity forward, not just with words, but also with actions.
