Before you joined Adalta Energy, what were you doing?

Prior to joining Adalta in September 2022, I was busy being a Mum for about 18 months after taking voluntary redundancy from npower.? I have previously worked in various Risk and Commercial roles in the Energy Industry (at both npower and Scottish Power) since 2004.

What is it you like about working in the energy industry?

I enjoy the complexities of it and the fact that I’m always learning. ?There is always something new, be that industry changes, new software, or even something as simple new reporting requirements – it is constantly changing and I enjoy that.?

What makes Adalta Energy stand out in the energy market?

I think what makes Adalta Energy stand out is perhaps the ongoing support and consultancy that they offer to clients.? A focus on doing what is best for our clients, coupled with the team’s many years of industry experience gives us a great platform to build from.

Outside of Adalta Energy, what do you do?

We have spent the last couple of years renovating a house, which seems to consume much of our time.? Alongside that, I have two dogs and a 2-year-old. But when I do have some spare time I enjoy outdoor pursuits like rock climbing, snowboarding, cycling, etc.?

How would you spend your time if you didn’t have to work (big lottery win)?

Most likely we would travel, we have a bucket list of places we would like to visit.? It would be nice to tick a few places of those off the list.
