10 个月Very insightful and so easy to engage with, Mike. I recently read that creating an image that allows the person to see themselves as the desired persona (e.g., a leader that clearly cares for their team), but I am unsure how this works. Do you have any advice?

10 个月I’m particularly drawn to the “verb tense” point. Present tense suggests confidence and the reason why makes a lot of sense: “When communicators use present tense, it suggests that they are certain enough to go beyond simply saying something was true and make an assertion about the way things are.” This is the way. vs. This was (or will be) the way. ?? The latter just doesn’t land the same. It gives the “maybe” option. Thanks for sharing, Mike Taylor !
