One of the news items was from PR Week discussing how useful AI can be as a tool for PR and marketing professionals, so below we’ve listed out just some of the way you can use it help you focus on creativity.
Content creation
Using an AI tool can get you out of those dreaded writers by helping to generate blog post ideas and outlines, social media content to complement, and even press release drafts.
You can also use it put together a basic structure for content calendars and social media strategies
Research and analysis
One of the most useful applications of AI is summarising long articles or reports so you can understand the key points quickly, whether that’s ahead of a meeting or brainstorming ideas.
You can also use it to create personas for target audiences.
Time management and productivity
Working in marketing or PR (especially if you’re agency based) can mean that you have a lot of different tasks to juggle, AI can help you to create task lists and prioritise your workload.
It can also help you to draft meeting minutes and action items and if you use Notion or similar create workflow templates for recurring tasks
Some of the most commonly used AI tools are ChatGPT, Claude.ai, MidJourney, Dall-E, Otter.ai and Grammaly.
