Certainly for those in Real Estate Industry most Real Estates Agents get really excited at the beginning of September, the so called start of the “Spring Market”. Technically “Spring” doesn’t really start until the equinox which falls a little later in September around 22nd or 23rd September but that’s splitting hairs.
Many agents like this time of year as they believe it will be the time when the phones ring with plenty of vendor’s looking to sell and buyer’s looking to buy. I remember vaguely that’s how it worked 20 years ago. Back then there were no computers just a box of cards and a phone.
Not to bust their bubble but from my experience things don’t quite work so easily. In order to have found the vendors of today and those of tomorrow many long hours have been put in to prospecting, mailing, calling and constantly communicating with our databases as well as networking with our colleagues here at 135 King Street. The same is true for buyers, we know our buyers very well, some buyers trust us enough to acquire properties over the phone sight unseen and you do not build these kind of relationships overnight.
No Agency works as hard as us in order to help bring buyers, sellers, landlord and renters together, I think in Asutralia they call it the hard yards and we will prove it!
Residential Sales:
I am delighted to announce that the first open inspection of 6 C Stamford Residences, 171 Gloucester Street takes place tomorrow from 11 am until 11.30 am. I have also been appointed to sell a 250 square metre penthouse apartment very close to Hyde Park with some unique features, what can I say, well it has space for two cars, pet friendly building, generous outside space, more details to follow in forth-coming weekly alerts.
Plus a lead from our Agricultural division gave us the instruction stunning home for sale in Rose Bay, gun barrel views of Sydney Harbour, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge do not come much better than this.
Residential Leasing:
I was really looking forward to standing outside The Hyde at 157 Liverpool Street this weekend to showcase a studio / one bedroom apartment I took instruction on this week. Fortunately for our landlord and unlucky for those who expressed interest it has gone, from uploading on Thursday afternoon it was snapped up in hours. The ultimate pied-a-terre snapped up in double quick time. The reputation of The Hyde as one of the most outstanding buildings in the city is truly justified.
Next week comes another star listing in The Eliza (next door to the Sheraton on Hyde Park). Trust me apartment living does not come much better, this two bedroom apartment stylishly interior designed will set the bar very high.
The weather for this coming weekend in Sydney CBD; the weather for Saturday will be mostly sunny, there is an outside chance of a few spots of rain, with a top of 19 degrees and a low of 10 degrees. Sunday is similar mostly sunny with a high of 19 degrees and a low of 7 degrees.
