#1 Have a consistently inconsistent morning?routine

We all know how effective it is to have a morning routine, but there are three things everyone gets wrong about morning routines. First, you can’t just copy your favorite celebrity’s wake-up-and-go strategy, you’ve got to make your own because what works for someone else might not work for you. Second, you’re not a failure if you skip a few days while you get the hang of this. Third, you shouldn’t do the same routine every morning.

A consistently inconsistent routine should be the goal.

#2 When following up, be Specific, Succinct, and?Positive

Has it happened to you that, you emailed someone asking for a conversation, information, input, or an introduction and you got no response? It can be frustrating and disappointing. You may jump to the conclusion that you’re being ghosted but the reality is that we’re all juggling with many important work and personal responsibilities these days so it is best to reach out with a gentle nudge and here’s how.

#3 Use decision tree model to improve decision?making

Mike Cannon-Brookes, co-founder and co-CEO of Atlassian, uses the decision tree model to improve the decision-making process and depersonalize challenges in the course of one on one communication. The basics of the decision tree are root, trunk, branch, and leaf which gives you four types of decisions and they vary on two axes in a generalized decision model where the two axes refer to the person making the decision and the information that is broadcast about the decision.
