Pandemic brings in a lots of changes in which the Hiring Process slowed down to a larger extent . In 2020, around 82% of the colleges suffered a halt in hiring process as organizations stopped what they planned previously. The challenges in terms of learning agility and the focus of hiring multi skilled professionals were the need , so the options left with organizations were to stop the present hiring procedures and upgrade the existing employees .
In comparison , to the de-growth of effective hiring in 2020 , 2021 saw an upliftment in the opportunities which is technologically driven and digitally aligned in terms of process, operations and functional needs . The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation agenda of large corporations, leading to an outsized hiring of talent with new-age skills.

New Age Technology is more adaptable by Fresher as their agility towards understanding new technologies are much higher than experienced population , so organizations are more keen to employ new talents, spend on training them and retain them with defined career path.

As per the Global Survey by Forbes , a post coronavirus world would need few traits in hiring employees which would be highly recommended and they are 1. Adaptability & Flexibility, 2. Tech Savviness 3. Creativity & Innovation 4.Data Literacy 5. Creative Thinking .6. Commitment to a life long learning,7.Leadership 8. Emotional Intelligence .
Whereas point nos 1,3,5,6,7,8 are points which would lead to the traits to develop and more of competencies more than skills , the remaining few do have many courses online to start upgrading their basics . As institutions have taken the initiative to move online , similarly a slight change in the syllabus can really make the possibility grow more brighter for the students to get placed .
Courses related to , data literacy , data science, digital marketing, personal digital presence will be very effective for the students to showcase their profile to corporates . Even , video resumes , training on how to present in a video and post pandemic its majorly the CAMERA which will work for them. Knowledge of attending interviews online , using platforms like Webex, Zoom, Microsoft teams , Google meet- for both fresher and experienced professionals will make them more independent in ruling the NEW WORLD and make them more FUTURE READY in terms of virtual communication , reports and meetings.
