Freshen Up
Calgarians have embraced home renovations and new home builds over the last year, and it looks like 2022 will continue to set records. Thanks to the pandemic, many homeowners are re-evaluating their relationships with their homes.
Before March 2020, your home may have merely been a place to sleep. But now, home has taken on an entirely new meaning. A two-year lockdown and various restrictions have forced millions of people around the world to adapt to their spaces and exist within the confines of four walls.?
As we move into this new year, more homeowners than ever are saying it’s time for something new, something that functions better and feels fresh. We love the freedom that working from home has given us, but we can’t stand that our dining rooms have been transformed into offices. We love being closer to our families, but we crave some separate spaces to escape to for alone time.?
That said, COVID has been stressful, and I field calls regularly from potential clients that are worried about embarking on a big project right now.?
As the lead at Alec Williams Construction, my goal is to ensure a client’s home building journey is as beautiful as the end result. We believe in delivering a stress-free experience built on open communication, careful time and budget tracking, and an empathy and respect for the upheaval a big life project can cause.?
