The 2024 UX Tools Map
We recently released our 2024 UX Tools Map, chalked-filled with 828 tools across the product lifecycle. And as our resident cartographer Katryna Balboni recently noted, it was no small task.
As we're in the holiday spirit, we decided to give subscribers exclusive access to our shiny new 20+ page Traveler's Guide, which takes you through every tool category and corresponding territory in this year's map.
When you're done here, have some fun exploring our map online, where you can also download the full database list and get a nifty full map to bring anywhere with you (here's a sneak peek below).
NEW RESEARCH
??? Are you a Product pro that wants to forge better ties with your Research counterparts? We want to hear from you!
The team that brought you this year's State of User Research, UX Salary Report, and recent AI in UX Research Report would love your help in developing new insights around a growing topic — ensuring that Product and UXR teams are in lock step to create the best outcomes possible.
Here's how you can help
We teamed up with our friends at HEARD by Elis to develop this brief survey for all levels of Product professionals to help unpack some of the key challenges in collaboration with Research. The good news? It should take less time to complete than ordering a coffee at your local cafe.
As always, we'll make the results publicly available early next month (along with some other helpful guides) so that you can put these findings into action right away.

Need to streamline boatloads of UX analysis? Try an Interview Snapshot (+ template)
An Interview Snapshot is a simple way to organize your thinking as research sessions are happening, setting you up for smoother, less stressful analysis later on.
Even better news? There’s no wrong way to use it, and we have a free, customizable template to help you get going faster.
Our Ben Wiedmaier talks to Interview Snapshot template creator Roberta D. about its development, why it's meant to be scrappy, and how to apply it to your own processes.
