Fresh talent and bold ideas: Introducing Sirocco’s Fall 2024 Interns

For many years, we’ve been running successful internship programs at Sirocco. Say hello to our latest group — we’re thrilled to have you on board and can't wait to see what you’ll accomplish over the next few months!

At Sirocco, internships are not just a learning experience; they’re a launchpad for future careers in IT and business consulting. Our interns gain invaluable real-world experience, applying their academic knowledge to solve real-world problems. They work closely with our experienced consultants, sharpening technical and soft skills (like coding, communication, and teamwork) all while building their professional confidence.

Beyond technical learning, Sirocco internships offer a unique opportunity to network with our local industry peers, clients, and partners, opening doors to future career paths and immersing them in the fast-paced world of IT and business consulting. Our interns get to see firsthand how the consulting industry operates, from client interactions to solving business challenges, preparing them for success in their future careers.

For us at Sirocco, these internships aren’t just a way to give back to the next generation of professionals, they’re a way to infuse fresh perspectives and innovative thinking into our teams. Our interns often inspire improvements and new approaches that keep Sirocco at the cutting edge. Moreover, these programs have become a key part of our talent pipeline. In fact, many of our interns choose to stay with us after their internship, and several of them have gone on to become team leaders. Right now, we proudly employ team members from at least four generations of interns!

But it’s not just the interns who benefit. These programs are also a way for our experienced employees to pass on their knowledge, hone their leadership skills, and develop as mentors. This focus on growth, mentorship, and shared learning reinforces our commitment to being a supportive and forward-thinking employer.

Sara:

"My name is Sara, and I am studying Frontend Development at IT-H?gskolan in Stockholm. This is my first internship period, and I’m really enjoying my time at Sirocco. Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly!"

Vilgot:

"Hi! My name is Vilgot, and I’m studying .NET development at IT-H?gskolan. I recently started my internship and am excited to learn more about the industry while improving my skills in C# and CRM. During my time here, I hope to contribute to projects and grow both technically and professionally. I’m really looking forward to being part of Sirocco and learning from experienced colleagues!"

Yois:

"My name is Yois, and I am studying Frontend Development at IT-H?gskolan in Stockholm. I’m happy to be doing my internship at Sirocco with such a great team!"

Anton:

"My name is Anton, and I am studying to become a .NET developer at IT-H?gskolan. In my free time, I enjoy playing music, golf, and badminton. I’m really looking forward to this internship, learning more about development, and getting the opportunity to put my skills into practice!"
