There comes a time in everyone’s life when you just feel in need of a bit of a makeover. And the same can be said for brands – thinking about the image they’re portraying to the outside world and how it might be improved. So, last Autumn, we at the TVR team embarked on an exciting journey to refresh our brand, develop our first ever brochure and launch a brand new website. Now, ready to show off for the first time at the Battery Tech Expo, we’re proud of the finished results and hope our customers and those we are yet to meet, will be able to gain a better insight to how TVR could work with them.
So, our logo. After much debate over the name of the company – should we change it? Shouldn’t we? We decided it describes what we do and the customers we work with. So we modernised the font and used the spectrum of colours synonymous with infared.
Then our brochure. This was a tough one. How much detail to go in to? We needed to provided an introduction to thermography, but without making the brochure too basic. Equally, we needed to provide application examples, details of cameras and accessories available from FLIR – but where do you stop? What was most important to us though, was explaining the service we provide. We broke down a step by step process to show how we work with each customer, from initially understanding what they want to achieve through thermography, to the specific requirements of their project. And of course, we needed to include some great images, to demonstrate the capabilities of FLIR cameras.
Finally, our website. We know our website is just used as a quick reference shop window – so that’s all we wanted it to be. A one-pager, confirming our link with FLIR and with enough information on cameras and applications for visitors to decide if it would be worth making an enquiry. Our brochure is also available to download from the site and that’s about as much we need.
We’re really pleased with the end result and look forward to using our new materials when talking to customers now and in the future.
