A French University Invasion of Entrepreneurial Inspiration

A group of thirteen Executive MBA students from NEOMA Business School in France recently visited the Innohub Foundation Office. Their mission? To uncover the secrets of successful social entrepreneurship and learn how Innohub has thrived while making a positive impact.

This diverse group of MBA students, representing industries such as engineering, mining, automotive, pharmaceuticals, crisis management, and luxury, came eager to learn about Innohub’s journey. They were hosted by Innohub’s Executive Director, Nelson Amo, and Chief of Staff, Mami Serwaa Amoakohene.

A CEO's Tale of Triumph

Nelson Amo, the Executive Director of Innohub Foundation, shared the inspiring journey of the organization, from its humble beginnings to becoming a thriving hub of innovation. He recounted the challenges and successes that have shaped Innohub's path.

Chief of Staff Maame Serwaa Amoakohene engaged the group by answering their questions about effective networking and achieving meaningful results.

As the students listened closely, Nelson highlighted the strategies and principles guiding Innohub’s growth, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, empowering social entrepreneurs, and leveraging technology for sustainable solutions.

Over the years, Innohub has provided essential business development support and training for start-ups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across sectors like agriculture, clean energy, WASH, Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET), logistics, and information technology. Our efforts have helped these companies refine their business models, pursue sustainable growth paths, create uncontested markets, and secure investor capital.

Additionally, we have partnered with organizations such as Tullow, MTN, SNV, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Trade Centre (ITC), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), Access Bank, the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) Venture Accelerator, AfriLabs, the French Development Agency, Solidaridad, and the British Council to provide acceleration and incubation support to numerous small and growing businesses.

The visit was interactive and engaging, with the students displaying a keen interest in the inception of the Innohub vision, the challenges faced, significant impact stories, and the future of Innohub and social enterprises.
