French Boutique Opens in Nashville with Excitement about Music City’s Retail Future
Nashville Stars Baseball Club
Deeply rooted in Tennessee’s rich baseball history, we are committed to bringing Major League Baseball to Music City.
Nashville has secured nonstop flights to several international destinations in recent months — including Frankfurt, Germany, Reykjavík, Iceland and Dublin, Ireland — but its most recent international success comes via France.
Diptyque Paris , a boutique retail shop, opened its latest American location in Green Hills, just the fifth in the southeastern United States among the 35 nationally (and 149 worldwide). Diptyque offers perfumes, candles, body care products and a vast array of home decor, and the appeal of Nashville was pivotal in luring the French brand to Music City.
“Nashville has a unique retail scene – it’s diverse, well curated, and blends its Beaux Art roots with modernity and a rich creative culture,” Diptyque Americas chief marketing officer Jessie Dawes said in a statement to the Nashville Business Journal. “In luxury, clients are seeking not just products, but an emotional connection with brands paired with the highest level of client experience.”
The creativity that Diptyque seeks is also present in its Nashville shop,?which features a mural inspired by the state's native plants created by Tennessee artist Katelyn Roebuck.
Dawes added: “Looking ahead, we see Nashville’s retail landscape continuing to evolve toward an elevated and experience-driven shopping environment.”
Bienvenue à Nashville, Diptyque!
