This new edition of the "French Alps Digest" for the 2024 season is marked by the restage of renowned venues and openings of new exclusive establishments, especially in Courchevel, showcasing talented chefs, world and French cuisine. 2024 is also the 10th anniversary of L′Apogée Courchevel (Oetker Collection) opening Gennaro′s for the special occasion. New openings & restaurants restage
Cosy Box by Franck Aussilia & Annie Famose
Cosy Box concept combines Italian gourmet dining, music, and contemporary art into an exclusive pop-up restaurant experience. Originally conceived by Franck Aussilia for prestigious events like the Festival de Cannes and Art Basel in Miami, Cosy Box is now making its debut in the mountainous region.
The essence of Cosy Box lies in its visual appeal, involving collaboration with international contemporary artists to design unique and intimate atmospheres.
For this edition, British artist Julian Mayor takes the helm, offering guests a true immersion into his globally acclaimed world, famous for sculptures characterized by abstract geometric forms.
On the culinary front, the innovative menu has been crafted by Alexandre Delage, the lead chef for the Annie Famose group. It focuses on contemporary Italian cuisine, featuring outstanding ingredients and is distinguished by its stylish presentation.
L’Aventure by Bagatelle & Maison Tournier
This season, the Bagatelle group and Maison Tournier are collaborating to bring a magical transformation to the renowned L’Aventure restaurant in Courchevel 1850.
Visitors will have the pleasure of discovering the fresh and stylish decor created by designer Sam Baron.
Set in a warm and softly lit ambiance, guests can explore an innovative menu featuring creative takes on traditional French dishes, all inspired by the essence of winter, while soaking up the celebratory atmosphere of this venue.
In the evenings, the restaurant transforms into a cabaret setting, offering dance performances and shows that promise to entertain guests well into the night.
Ki Nu Gawa, Courchevel 1850, by Annie Famose & Blackcode
The renowned entity from the Blackcode and Annie Famose groups, recognized for its modern Japanese cuisine in Paris and Ramatuelle, officially opened its new location in December 2023 after opening last year in Megève.
This establishment merges Kinugawa's luxurious elegance with the cozy charm of an Alpine setting.
Guests will be greeted into a snug and inviting space where they can savor the very essence of Japanese culinary art, highlighted by the iconic signature dishes of Kinugawa.
??Les Enfants Terribles?? by Maison Tournier
The renowned venue located just outside of Courchevel 1850 has undergone an impressive transformation that is a must-see upon its reopening.
Les Enfants Terribles offers an enchanting throwback experience with its elegant, vintage-inspired decor. The menu, influenced by classic French culinary traditions, features mouth-watering dishes to be savored in a lively 1980s setting, complete with nightly DJ sets.
This spot is sure to transport you to the whimsical days of youth, making for an invigorating night out!
Les Airelles Courchevel & La Table des Grands Crus
Still at Les Airelles, step into a sophisticated yet welcoming setting and embark on an exploration of outstanding wines, perfectly paired with gourmet creations by Chef Adrien Trouilloud. La Table des Grands Crus is a unique and intimate culinary adventure awaits you in the midst of the Courchevel ski resort.
Les Airelles Courchevel & Cédric Grolet
The upcoming winter season at Les Airelles Courchevel is highly anticipated, thanks to an array of exciting culinary innovations.
This season features a special collaboration with Cédric Grolet, celebrated as one of the world's top pastry chefs. He will be crafting all the delectable desserts available at the hotel.
Guests can look forward to a delightful range of pastries, cakes, and, notably, the exquisite desserts that grace the famous buffet at La Table des Airelles.
