Freight Logistics Services USA has culminated a three-year-long logistics project for their West African Client that required door-to-door service by FLS.
The project involved transporting components ex-manufacturers yard in Texas, plus various other supplier origins in the USA and Europe, with FLS Houston being the single point of contact for all coordination.The project entailed delivery up to customs cleared and site delivered to a remote refinery site in West Africa.
The project has increased the Clients refinery capacity from 1,000 BPD to 10,000 BPD, with the first crude set to flow into production 8 October 2020, and at the target flow rate of 10,000 BPD.
During this project FLS USA Shipped a total of 29,250 cubic meters of breakbulk freight, 98,000 Kilograms air freight, and 100 plus shipper owned containers.All cargoes were delivered to the job site with zero freight loss, zero freight damage, and zero lost-time incidents.
