Freight charges in 2024 experienced an increase starting in April, followed by a decline to their lowest point in October. The entire cycle spans approximately six months. The SCFI saw an increase of roughly 115%.

For the rest of 2024, It is estimated that the overall fluctuations of the SCFI will remain relatively stable. Moreover, the cycle duration is brief. Notably, freight rates fluctuate depending on the sea route chosen.
