Trying to compare and contrast all of the sources of data out there, and then bring it down to a degree of simplicity to understand the specific applications of each in demand skill...from the research I was able to complete, there are a few consistent themes:
- JavaScript, HTML, and CSS: These are the three core technologies used in building websites and web applications.
- React, Angular, and Vue.js: These are popular JavaScript libraries and frameworks for building user interfaces.
- Node.js: This is a JavaScript runtime that allows developers to build server-side applications.
- Python: This is a versatile programming language that can be used for web development, data analysis, and more.
- Adobe Creative Suite: This includes software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, which are widely used in graphic design.
- Sketch: This is a digital design tool that is becoming increasingly popular among graphic designers.
- Branding: This encompasses creating and maintaining a company's visual identity, including logos, typography, and color schemes.
- UX/UI design: This is the process of designing user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to navigate.
- Copywriting: This is the art of writing persuasive text that sells products or services.
- SEO writing: This is the process of writing content that is optimized for search engines.
- Blogging: This is the process of creating written content for a website or online publication.
- Content strategy: This is the process of planning, creating, and managing content across various platforms.
- SEO: This is the process of optimizing a website to rank higher in search engine results.
- PPC: This stands for pay-per-click and refers to online advertising campaigns that charge advertisers only when their ad is clicked.
- Social Media Marketing: This refers to the process of promoting a business or brand through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Email marketing: This refers to the process of using email to promote products or services to a list of subscribers.
- Communication: ability to convey information effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in writing.
- Time management: ability to prioritize and manage one's own time effectively.
- Collaboration: ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal.
- Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing circumstances and new information.
- Problem-solving: ability to identify and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Far from an exhaustive list, but these are the areas in focus that I would encourage people interested in freelancing to dig into!
