Freelancing, jobs, thankfulness and more ??

Thank you so much everyone for the feedback on our new website! We're still super excited about it, and steadily migrating all our very best content there for everyone to enjoy.

Both the podcast and Remote Work Europe are passion projects for me, a chance to spread the word about things I care about - while creating content for other people is mostly what keeps the lights on.?

So I do my best to share what I have learned along the way there, such as with this week's podcast: all about balancing your roster, of freelance work.

Fellow indies, I'd love your feedback on this - how do you plan and balance your dance card, in the great gig shuffle?

Have a listen , or else watch , and let me know.

(Regular followers of the pod may have spotted there would normally be a guest interview this week, instead of my solo ramblings - don't worry, this is just a one-off scheduling switch, and we're back with a fabulous guest expert next week.)

Now, I got some interesting feedback about last week's show. Not everyone wants a reality check about how hard it is to find a great remote job - but I am afraid I will not sugar coat things.

I talk about freelancing a lot, because I honestly believe that the best job in the world is often one you create for yourself. Why wouldn't it be? So the podcast will remain focused on the solopreneur world, while recognising that the lines are blurred now.??

Perhaps you have a part-time job while you launch your side business, or you have several long-term consulting arrangements while you dabble in new gigs or products, it's all up to you - exciting, isn't it?

To help you to help yourself, we're offering a discount on our famous LinkedIn guide, and all our other books, for a few days only - check the banner at the top.

And we want to share one more fantastic deal with you, from our newest partner Full Scope Freelancer - because they're offering a LIFETIME deal on top of their already great value tool set, which does pretty much everything a freelancer or side-hustler can ask for.

We have a cool webinar coming up with these smart guys in December, but in case (like me) you take one look and immediately grasp the potential, I did not want you to miss their amazing offer for this weekend only.

Speaking of events, we have one more coming your way this month, all about the Spanish digital nomad visa.

This visa launched almost one year ago now, and it's fair to say it wasn't an immediate success. Badly-managed messaging about the tax requirements, a demand for documents which did not exist in some countries... It took a while for visas to be successfully applied for and issued, and for lessons to be learned all round.

Our guest speaker for next week's webinar, has supported clients throughout this time, including managing appeals where required, and as the Entre Trámites immigration specialist she will be the perfect person to share an overview. So if you've ever dreamed of moving to Spain, or maybe you're here already and trying to regularise your status or start working, then come and check this out, on Facebook or LinkedIn as you prefer.?

Finally, if you are giving thanks and celebrating with family and friends this year, or sending love to those you are far away from, then all of us in the international Remote Work Europe team send you seasons greetings and best wishes.

To bring things back around to our podcast theme for this week, what I wish for my own business and yours in 2024 is more sustainability and predictability, after what has been a pretty turbulent 2023. Change is good, but so is a little stability

Have a wonderful weekend!
