Freelance IT Support Engineer (EUC L1) - Caguas, Puerto Rico

CONNECTB2B LTD is hiring for a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team in Caguas, Puerto Rico. This is an on-site role under a B2B contract, perfect for a proactive professional with a passion for delivering exceptional IT support and solving complex technical challenges.

Position Details:

Location: Caguas, Puerto Rico

Duration: 1-year contract (with potential for extension)

Start Date: Immediate

Language: local language & English Fluent

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and operating system issues promptly and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
• Assist in the setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software solutions.
• Support the deployment of software updates, patches, and operating system upgrades.
• Manage and resolve incidents using ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket tracking and reporting (experience preferred).
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensuring proper inventory management and compliance.
• Provide technical support for corporate events, including town halls, meetings, and other large-scale gatherings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow operations and SSCM is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
