Freelance Java Engineer - Long Term Mission - Brussels (1/2 days on-site per week)

Role: Freelance Java Developer

Location: Brussels (1/2 days on-site per week)

Length: 6 Months Initially (If a good 6 months, they will extend this multiple times)

Start date: May (4/5 weeks)

One of my governmental clients in Brussels are actively searching that are able to start supporting their project/team within the next 4/5 weeks. You must be adaptable to new environments and to work with a consultant mindset (Mature, Flexible, "go above and beyond").

Environment:

·????????Development and release management of microservices in a complex IT landscape

·????????Development and design release processes for legal text editors (javscript, java, spring, oracle based, release management is a mix of full automation with bamboo, rpm , and manual releases)

·????????Integration testing, using jmeter foreseeably

·????????Devops/3rd level support on these services

Skills:

·????????Java 11 (upgrading to Java 17 in 2023)

·????????Spring, Spring Boot

·????????CI/CD – Bonus

·????????Oracle / SQL

·????????TDD

·????????Agile / Scrum
