Freelance FEA Specialist | Limburg

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled FEA Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge projects within a large automotive group in Limburg. Join our team to drive design optimization and tackle complex mechanical challenges

What You’ll Do:

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on innovative structural designs
• Lead failure analysis for advanced mechanical systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure durability, safety, and reliability of our products
• Create FEA models, run simulations, and provide design improvement recommendations
• Optimize designs using static, dynamic, and thermomechanical analysis methods
• Propose out-of-the-box solutions based on simulation insights

Your Profile:

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of automotive powertrain simulation experience
• Proficient in Abaqus, Ansys, and Altair Hyperworks
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and material strength
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, highly organized, and a creative problem solver
