Freedom Fibre Celebrate Successful Completion of VX Fibre UK Merger

Since 2020, award-winning alternative network provider, Freedom Fibre, has been working tirelessly to bring its lightning-fast, full-fibre broadband network to homes and businesses in the North West. As a wholesale provider, the company works closely with internet service providers (ISPs) such as TalkTalk , Fusion Fibre Group , Squirrel Internet, IP River Limited and Link Broadbands to connect customers to a broadband network that is 10x faster and 5x more reliable than the legacy copper network.?

With the success of the ISP partnerships, Freedom Fibre looked for a way to further accelerate its rollout and is delighted to announce that the merger with VX Fibre UK that was first announced in December 2023 has been completed.??

In addition to increasing Freedom Fibre’s build footprint to approximately 285,000 premises, the merger means that Freedom Fibre now acts as the wholesale parent company for retail operator, LilaConnect UK . In addition to continuing to establish and maintain partnerships with other national ISPs, the LilaConnect brand will continue post-merger with its gigabit full fibre connectivity made accessible to homes, businesses, and communities across the network.?
