Meta Ads AI Chatbot To The Search Bar Across Its Apps

After a test on Instagram’s search bar reported by Tech Crunch at the beginning of April, Meta has upgraded its AI chatbot with the latest large language model, Llama 3, now running in the search bars of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp across multiple countries. In addition to this move to promote its AI services across its platform, the company launched other new features, such as faster image generation and access to web search results.

TikTok Starts Testing TikTok Notes In Selected Markets

According to the declarations by TikTok on X, the company is in the early stages of experimenting with a dedicated space for photo and text content with TikTok Notes, aiming to compete with Meta’s apps like Instagram and Threads. Designed for those who would like to share and engage through photo content, the new app is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in Canada and Australia and is accessible with users’ existing TikTok accounts.

Instagram Adds Notify Stickers For Greater Fan Connections

Instagram is offering an additional method to ensure that creators are reaching their most engaged fans to the fullest extent possible.? With the new notify sticker for creators, the app provides users with the choice to subscribe to alerts for specific types of content such as stories, reels, posts or live videos, ensuring they see their upcoming posts in the app.

YouTube Tests To Incentivize Subscribers In The App

YouTube is testing an optional “Most Relevant” view for users’ subscriptions feed so that people can easily find the latest updates from the channels they are most interested in. This feature could help those who are subscribed to a lot of creators in the app. Moreover, to provide another incentive for subscribers, the app is looking to make it easier to upload Members-Only Shorts, by adding this option under the visibility listing into the upload process, which will also ensure that members get a notification whenever a members-only clip is uploaded.

2024 LinkedIn Benchmarks Study: Engagement Rate Data and Top-Performing Content Insights

According to Socialinsider’s latest study into Linkedin posting best practices, the engagement rate on LinkedIn has increased by 44% YoY, reaching a whopping 3.85% in 2024. Among the most engaging post type, multiple images posts are in lead on Linkedin whilst video posts generate the most shared in the app on average. Regarding the post frequency, brands are posting to Linkedin 10% more than they did last year.
