Free Webinar: Embracing the Digital Revolution in the Food Industry
The food industry has recognized the urgent need to shift from traditional paper documents and Excel spreadsheets to digital data for leveraging AI technologies, recalls, and compliance with government regulations. This digital transformation promises to unveil hidden food safety hazards and mitigate business risks. Yet, between 2018 and early 2023, a staggering 157 ransomware incidents have plagued the industry, inflicting an estimated $1.36 billion in downtime costs on the global economy. In 2021 alone, businesses grappled with an average of 11.5 days of lost production due to ransom demands ranging from $20,000 to a jaw-dropping $15 million.
As the food industry navigates its digital journey, it's crucial to prioritize cutting-edge cybersecurity measures. Attendees will emerge from this session equipped with a clearer understanding of the threats at hand and a practical roadmap for minimizing potential risks during this exciting digital metamorphosis.

The control system devices used in food production and packaging have no cyber security, authentication, or cyber forensics and are not being addressed.
