Hayley Hayes - Head of Specification, Polypipe Building Products

With a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence, Hayley Hayes brings 17 years of expertise in low-energy heating and plumbing systems to the discussion. As Head of Specification, she plays an instrumental role in supporting housebuilders, developers and designers in the specification of sustainable, low-carbon, heating and plumbing solutions that will stand the test of time.Having been an active member of the Housing Forums Futures Network for the last 2 years, Hayley has been involved in projects such as the creation of the ‘Route Map for New Homes Delivery’, which launched in July 2023 as well as speaking at numerous events such as CIH Brighton, sharing her experience around the skills shortage in UK construction. In January 24, Hayley was appointed as Chairperson of the Housing Forum Futures Network, where she continues to increase the competence of sector professionals through collaboration opportunities, mentorships, research and forums.


Anna Clarke - Director of Policy and Public Affairs, The Housing Forum

Anna is Director of Policy and Public Affairs at The Housing Forum. This role that involves bringing members together to increase our voice to government and promote The Housing Forum and its reputation for industry insight to a range of policymakers and stakeholders. She is responsible for The Housing Forum’s response to consultations as well as creating and promoting our Manifesto in support of our mission of a Quality Home for All.Anna has extensive experience of working throughout the housing sector on housing policy issues. She worked in academia at Cambridge University leading research projects for Government, private and third sector bodies across the housing sector, and since then in consultancy and more recently leading research for Peabody. With a strong research and policy influencing background, she has a detailed understanding of UK housing policy and the housing sector. She is a member of the Housing Studies Association and ThinkHouse editorial panel.


Richard Eddy - Category Manager – Underground & Utilities, Polypipe Building Products

Richard Eddy has over 35 years’ experience in the plastics pipe manufacturing industry and is an industry expert with a deep-rooted knowledge of below ground drainage systems. As Category Manager at Polypipe Building Products, he is responsible for managing the Polypipe below ground and utilities ranges for residential and commercial markets and he plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional drainage solutions for the construction industry. Richard is committed to addressing the challenges posed by climate change and urbanisation. His expertise in the field makes him a valuable resource for architects, designers, developers, and contractors seeking to implement efficient and environmentally friendly drainage solutions.
