May and June are months normally packed with vendor or independent conferences, but due to the global pandemic, many have pivoted to provide virtual events online. Whilst many will be disappointed by the cancellation of a trip to meet new friends and contacts, experience a new city or have in-depth conversations about product functionality and strategy. The upside is that many of the vendor events are now free to attend and still offer an ability to interact with vendor employees.
Below is a list of virtual conferences related to the Product Development industries. (If you find more, please connect with me and send me the details so I can update the article. Also, please share this list with contacts to help the attendance at these events).

It is a great opportunity to watch case studies from customers and therefore review your own approach to CAD/CAx/EDA/Simulation/PLM projects.
The TECHNIA PLMIF event attracted 1500 from 58 countries, which is definitely a wider audience than would have travelled for a physical event. Some comments on the PLMIF from PLM blogger - Jos Voskuil. If virtual conferences can continue to grow the attendances and find the right balance of engagement and networking, they may earn a permanent place in the Vendors calendar of marketing events.
